Education Qualification—

A candidate for direct recruitment to a post in the service must possess the following qualification:

(i) must possess Bachelor's degree from a university established by law in India or a qualification recognized by t h e G o v e r n m e n t a s equivalent thereto;

(ii) must have a minimum speed of eighty words per minute in Hindi shorthand and a minimum speed of twenty five words per minute in H i n d i t y p e w ri t i n g o n Computer:

(iii) must possess the knowledge of Computer in accordance with - Certificate Course in Computing (CCC) from NIELIT / Certificate Course in Computing (CCC) o r equivalent course from Government Institution / Government recognized university/Institution. Preferential QualificationAcandidate who has:-

(i) Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years,

or

(ii) obtained a 'B' certificate of National cadet corps, shall, other thing being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.
